Mini Masters

4 - 6 yrs
Mini-MasterIf you are looking for that first class where your child will be exposed to art exploration using different materials and techniques, this class is for you. Museum Educators will focus on famous artists (like Faith Ringgold) and offer a wonderful introduction to visual arts while enhancing fine motor skills. Artlab

6 - 9 yrs

Reading Adventures

1st and 2nd grade

Calling all literary explorers!  Sponsored by the Cooper Learning Center, Reading Adventures is a series of hands-on activities and reading-related projects designed to make reading fun and keep the educational spirit alive.  It's a great way to expand vocabulary and comprehension!  Call Cooper Learning Center to register at (856)673-4902.

ACT OUT!

ACT OUT! is a drama program teaching students, as young as three years, the basics of acting, while giving them the tools they need to be able to speak and perform in public. Through theater games, improvisation and pantomime, they learn: stage areas, diaphragmatic breathing, voice projection, directorial cues, and how to work as a team. They will create and perform their own storylines, and learn to give and take positive critiquing. Besides all of that, it's fun! WINTER/SPRING 2010:

The Winter/Spring session will include 12 weeks of instruction followed by a 2 week break, and back for 5 weeks of rehearsal and further instruction.  The final class and show will be on May 26th.

Wednesdays:  January 13, 2010 - May 26, 2010

There is NO Act Out! on April 2, 2010 and April 16, 2010.

PreK and K = 10:15am - 11:00am (Children must be 3 years or older)

Grade School = 4:15pm - 5:30pm

 

New Behavioral Network

New Behavioral Network welcomes your child to the PRIDE Pioneers Program (Social/Functional Program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders). Within a safe environment, our team of professionals provides a variety of activities designed to facilitate growth and positive change. The curriculum builds on strengths and supports social interaction.  Our Behavior Analyst and Licensed Occupational Therapist facilitate each session. Throughout each session, social and functional programs focus on specific, real life topics. Each session utilizes a station within the Museum, in which programs were developed to practice and learn real life skills, while incorporating social targets throughout the entirety of the program. 

Program runs June 10 - July 15, 2010 every Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.

Music Together
