Girl Scout Overnights

What?

Girl Scout Overnights are a unique way to complete workshops for a specific badge, play in the museum, and experience a “Camp-In” in an exciting environment! A snack is provided and story/music time will be held in the Theater before bedtime. The following morning the Museum’s Discovermore Toy Store will be open to shop for souvenirs! A 15 child minimum is required.

When?

Overnights begin at 8:00 PM and end at 8:00 AM the following morning.

The Garden State Discovery Museum
2040 Springdale Rd.
Cherry Hill, NJ 08003
Camp sites are assigned throughout exhibits on the Museum floor.

Why?

You’ll participate in workshops to earn your Home Scientist badge. Plus, there’s time to explore the Museum and have a sing-along with your friends. It’s tons of fun!

How?

Cost is $35 per child .   Ratio of 1 adult per 5 girls is required, but there is no charge for adults.  50% non-refundable deposit required upon booking.

FEBRUARY 2013– Inventor:

MAY 2013– Create Your Own/Discovery Museum:

*All workshops include classroom time to work on two badge projects as well as time to explore the Museum floor. The instructor will provide other project ideas to be sent home for you to continue working on the badge on your own.

**Cost is $14.00 per child – 1 chaperone for every 5 children is free, as that is the required ratio. Cost for additional adults is $5.
