Make a drum out of recycled materials, bring a drum from home or simply bang on the floor and be a part of the biggest drum circle this area has ever seen. Kala Jojo will be here on Saturday leading the drum circle. You’ll also learn how to dance the Joropo.

Museum-goers will get a glimpse of the colorful, traditional clothing of India and have a chance to learn songs and dances from Ritu Pandya and her friends from Happiness Within. Children will also get to try their hands at Mandala, the colorful art of sandpainting, as well as take part in a yoga workshop

In addition to this live theatre presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to paint a Museum ceiling tile in the style of Italian painter Michelangelo. (Workshop times TBA)
